From a child bonding with his vacuum cleaner to two brothers saving a gaming moment — this campaign proves that even the most rational purchases can unlock deeply emotional stories.

Description:

How do you inject meaning into products like vacuums and smartphones? OLX found an answer: by transforming practical solutions into emotional moments.

This campaign — part of OLX’s new brand platform “Everything you’re looking for, and…” — reimagines how people connect with everyday purchases. Each film takes a functional item and gives it a human heartbeat.

In “Dusty the Vacuum Cleaner,” a boy receives a delivery and declares, “This is Dusty!” — turning a cleaning device into a sidekick in rescue missions and bedtime rituals.

In “The Missed Moment,” a brother misses recording a gamer’s victory due to a full phone memory. He responds not with frustration, but with action—ordering a new phone on OLX to make sure the next moment is captured.

Together, these stories form a cohesive campaign that repositions OLX from a classifieds platform to a partner in everyday life.

They also demonstrate how storytelling in functional categories can drive both brand love and business results. Emotional resonance isn't reserved for luxury brands — it lives even in vacuums and phones, when framed through real human needs.
